Broadale Medical Centre is an approved Travel Medicine Centre, which means we provide a full range of services for people intending to travel abroad.
We provide travel vaccines, including yellow fever vaccine.
Many of the vaccines are stored on site, and we can order any other vaccines from our suppliers, which can be delivered within a couple of days.
It is strongly recommended to receive your injections at least 2 weeks before travelling, as it takes this long for many vaccines to fully ‘build up’ in the system.
It is best to contact us either in person or by phone prior to coming in for the vaccines, as we will need to discuss what vaccines are required for your itinerary, and may need to order certain vaccines.
Prices for the various vaccines are available on contacting the surgery.
As well as vaccinations, we can also offer travel advice, and prescribe any medications that may be required, such as malaria prophylaxis, antibiotics and medication to prevent altitude sickness.
